Some episodes of a podcast fade fast. Others get passed from listener to listener for years. "He's Neutral" is one of the second kind.
This is Episode 15 of Criminal, the long-running podcast hosted by Phoebe Judge. The show is built on a simple idea: true stories of people who've done wrong, been wronged, or gotten caught somewhere in between. No shouting. No gimmicks. Just a quiet, careful voice and a story that pulls you in.
That restraint is what makes this episode stand out. Fans frequently cite it as a favorite, and it's easy to hear why. Judge lets the details do the work. The tension builds slowly, and the title itself is a clue you won't fully understand until you press play.
We're keeping the story under wraps. Going in cold is the best way to hear it. What we will say is that this episode shows why Criminal earned its loyal following: it's short, tight, and hard to turn off once it starts.
It's a perfect entry point if you've never tried the show, and a great re-listen if you have. Put your headphones on tonight and listen on Apple Podcasts, or find it wherever you get your podcasts.
