Danone USA is voluntarily recalling So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert pints after consumer complaints revealed the possible presence of foreign materials — including small stones and other hard objects — within the cashew inclusions. The recall was announced September 15, 2026. No injuries have been reported. The recalled product was distributed to retail stores nationwide.
What’s Being Recalled?
The recall covers So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert, sold in standard pint containers. Only one SKU is included: SKU 136603, UPC 744473476138. All products with best-by dates on or before April 3, 2028 are included in this recall. No other So Delicious Dairy Free flavors, codes, or products are affected.
Why Was This Product Recalled?
Consumer complaints identified the possible presence of foreign materials — including small stones and other hard objects — within the cashew inclusions mixed into the ice cream. Hard foreign objects in food can cause broken teeth, lacerations to the mouth or throat, choking, and internal injury. Danone states the company is working with retail partners to remove affected product from shelves, and that unaffected product remains available.
