Regfear Ltd. of Raleigh, North Carolina, is recalling approximately 818 BedsPick-branded queen-size mattresses after the CPSC determined the mattresses violate the mandatory federal flammability standard for mattresses, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire. The recall was announced September 17, 2026. No incidents or injuries have been reported. This is the second Amazon mattress recall in September 2026 — the Qabefy mattress recall, announced August 13, involved the same federal flammability standard violation.
What’s Being Recalled?
The recall covers two styles of BedsPick queen-size mattresses, both 12 inches thick and sold compressed in a box. One style has a white top with purple sides (Prototype ID AMGSW067, model SME004) and the other has a white top with gray sides (Prototype ID AMGSW066, model AMG005197_12_Q_GLT). The Prototype ID and model number are on a sewn-in white label on one side of the mattress. The mattresses were sold exclusively on Amazon.com from February 2025 through May 2026 for between $140 and $200.
Why Was This Product Recalled?
The recalled mattresses fail to meet the mandatory federal flammability standard for mattresses, which requires mattresses to resist ignition and slow the spread of flame when exposed to an open fire. A mattress that fails this standard can ignite more quickly and intensely, significantly increasing the risk of fatal fire. No incidents have been reported.
What Should You Do?
Stop using the recalled BedsPick mattress immediately. Contact Regfear for a full refund by emailing BedsPickRecall@outlook.com or calling 800-614-1901, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET. You will be asked to write “Recalled” in permanent marker on the top surface of the mattress, take a photo, and email it as proof of disposal.
