The CPSC says FoShanShiNanHaiQuNuoAiTongZhuangShangHang, of China, is recalling about 94 CIYTI Light-Up Princess Costumes because they violate the mandatory safety standard for toys. Children can easily reach the button cell batteries inside. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
What's Being Recalled?
The recalled product is a blue dress with a crown and wand that light up, sold with a remote control. The crowns, scepters and remote controls contain button batteries. The costume itself has no markings, but the package has "CIYTI" on the front. The CPSC says the costumes were manufactured in China and sold online at Amazon from February 2025 through June 2025 for between $21 and $35. The CPSC page does not list distribution by state. Because the sale window closed in mid-2025, anyone who owns one likely bought it more than a year ago.
Why Was This Product Recalled?
The costumes violate the mandatory standard for toys because children can easily access the button cell batteries. The CPSC warns that swallowed button or coin batteries can cause serious injuries, including internal chemical burns, and death. The agency has not reported any incidents or injuries tied to this product.
What Should You Do?
Take the costumes away from children immediately and stop using them. Contact the firm at Norakid2026@outlook.com for a full refund. The CPSC says you will be asked to write "RECALLED" in permanent marker on the dress, crown, wand and remote control, then throw the toys away. After that, send a photo of the disposed toys to the same email address. The CPSC adds that button cell batteries are hazardous and should be disposed of or recycled following local hazardous waste procedures. The page lists no phone number for the firm. For questions, the CPSC hotline is 800-638-2772 (TTY 800-638-8270).
